Self introduction

My name is Wanda, and I'm 21years old. I was born in Taichung, and moved to Tainan about four years ago. I majored in Appplied Foriegner Language when I was a senior high college student. Because I want to work in the airport in the future, I hope I could enter Kaohsiung Hospitality College to major in Department of Airline Management after I graduated. My mother always encourages me to do everything I want, including what I want to study. However, I didn't get the entrance of this school which I want the most. I got another school,but I just wanted to stusy in Kaohsiung Hospitality College. I gave up studying, and prepared to attend next year test forTechnological and Vocational Education. Therefore, I come here to keep studying English.

An memorable experience had the greatest impact on my life. It led me to make the choice to major in English. When I was in junion high school, I attended the English conversation course held by school. I wanted to overcome the barrier of speaking with foreigners which made me afraid before. That was why I must attend this course. On the other hand, I thought it was a good opportunity to make me practice English conversation fluenty. During the period of the course, the teacher taught us how to use simple words and the intonation to express own thoughts and ideas to people. At first, I was worried about talking with the foreign teacher, cause I have no idea how to express my thoughts. However, she always told us "You have to believe you are good just as teacher say, and not to fear to say something wrong. "

Gradually, I could unterstand what foreigners want to express, and make me get relaxed and it is easier to communicate with them. After the course, I felt it was really helpful for me. Besides, it also overcomes my psychological barrier successfully. From that time, I decide to study English.
