As we can see from chart 1, the purpsoe of citizen travels regards "recreation, amusement, holiday" as principle. And in traveling motive "enjoy that scene", "put aside the toil of the work" and "because of never been to", it accounts for as much as 65%. Shows that people are on the tour activity for appreciate the natural view, put aside the work pressure, attract and satisfy their need in normal and monotonous living.

My favorite TV program- Project Runway

My favorite TV program is Project Runway that is a kind of program about clothes and designers. The host is a German model- Heidi Klum, and one of the judges is Micheal Kors, a fashion designer. They chose 15 challengers from thousands of people to enter this competition. Those designers took weekly challenge in New York Parsons School for design. For example, a suit of clothes made by plants, a formal dress made for Miss USA, or clothes made by trash that they find in factory of recycling, and so on.

I remember one scene that designers should discover inspirations in the apartment and they only had fifteen minutes to finish their creation. Judges would score the exam, and that means the worst creation would be out. The relationship between challengers and judges were like friends, partners, students, and teachers. Besides, judges would give suggestions, criticisms, and praises appropriately. After the elimination from the competition weekly, there were only three challengers showing a cycle of their creation in Olympus Fashion Week. Judges would choose one of them to be the winner whose creation would publish in fashion magazine. He would also get 100,000 US dollars and a lot of trophies. It is certainly the best opportunity for new designers to become famous.

On this program, there are many experiences we probably can learn from those designers. For instance, how to make their ideas from abstract to become concrete, how to allot work, compromise, and cooperate with people or a group under pressure and time, and how to face people if they have questions about you. In addition, I also can see different kinds of personality. Some of them always caviled at others' appreciation of the beauty or argued with people. However, some never gave up even though they failed. I think I have learnt more different attitude from it.

Stage2 Qualification

Last year all overseas students accomplished University Registration forms. Most of the students finished University Liberary Membership Application forms. The majority of students achieved National Health Service Registration forms. Many students completed International Student Identity Card Application forms. A number of students had done Accommadation Office Application forms.

Winter vacation

In the beginning of this winter vacation, I always stayed at home and cleaned the house. When Chinese New Year came, my parents and I went back to Taichung where is our hometown. All the members of my family gathered together and enjoyed the reunion dinner on the New Year's Eve. The young including me got red envelopes from the elder. After dinner, we sang songs, played cards, and gambled on dices, and finally I won about 1000 dollars.

The first day after New Year's Eve, I went shopping with my brother and cousin at the Chung-Yo Department Store where is a landmark in Taichung, and we bought many things and enjoyed shopping. On the day, I chatted with my cousin until midnight because he had to go back to the arm before the next day. The second day, we took a trip to Tinan Mountain (錫安山), where is in Kaohsiung Country, with my uncle's family. We climbed up the mountain. When all of the elder enjoyed the fresh air and felt relaxed, the young didn't like to climb, and always complained they were aching all over with fatigue, especially me. From this New Year's trip, I thought I should exercise more.
